I've been using Bluestacks for half a year and I'm pretty sure this is the best emulator. I have tried Nox, Phoenix, Memu, Koplayer and Remix all the software had problems. Nox was blocked in many applications, Phoenix causes problems with the Google game, Memu is slow, Koplayer is not very secure, The Remix is dead.
Is Bluestacks faster?
Yes they are, I have two games that prove this theory. FGO (Fate Grand Order) and Honkai Impact 3rd. The FGO application has Unity Engine, the perfect test application because Unity Engine in the Android community is infamous for poor performance. Honkai Impact 3rd also uses the Unity engine but it takes a lot of ram! There are some applications with low specification but that doesn't make any differnce.
The Bluestacks executed the applications well, FGO will not synchronize, but this is a problem that the Fate community has been dealing with in recent years. Honkai Impact 3rd runs at 30 fps setting will do well with my 4GB laptop. A gaming PC or any computer with more than 4GB of RAM may have better installation applications.
An important difference is the ability to install FINAL FANTASY XV, It is possible that other emulators can install it; You will see a great delay in other emulators. Bluestacks has no problems running FINAL FANTASY XV
You can trust Bluestacks, I won a keyboard a while ago and that's what it looks like.
It came from China and it seems that it is personalized. The keyboard works like any keyboard but with more functions. They offer gift cards like Google Play or Amazon. It is possible to win by entering all places for a good opportunity. When I win, I enter the Amazon code in my account and save it until I can get a game computer. I'm not there yet, but soon, a $400 gaming laptop is better than my 4GB daily computer.
Once a week, they do drawings for someone to win a game computer. There has not been any real proof, but people claim they have obtained their computers.
Bluestacks is very compatible, every month there is a new update. Bluestacks is on Mac, you can play Android games on it. Currently only in beta but not too many problems. Many games that were blocked in other emulators are not blocked in Bluestacks. Fate GO is one of them, Magia Record and many more.
You can do the basic things like take a screenshot, a simulated location, BossKey, get it. What it does not do is record games, they eliminate it because the companies would block them. The good news is that you can use another recording program to record games. Some time ago an important thing was added, something that no other emulator offers, the ability to translate games!
The translation software is open source, it was in an article in http://www.ilovefreesoftware.com/ but I can not find it. It is not the best translation, it is still much better than using your phone on the computer screen.
That is my opinion for Bluestacks, I will continue to use it. The Bluestacks story of sending data to China seems to have gone. They work a little with some Chinese company, that should not matter since they are doing the right thing.
One year ago I sign up for a site called Blasty a copyright service that automates the DMCA process. My plan for that time was $79 for a year but today that change to $120 for a year. The new plan was too expensive for me so i return to being a free user with only seeing who stole my content. This is my experience with Blasty over a whole year with them.
Changes in the year
The time Blasty started it was only in beta, one big error happen to me was the inability to add more than one content. That has since been fix. Other changes also included removal of the special google search results in their site, Blasty 3 plans turns to 2 plans a paid plan that auto DMCA content it finds and free plan that is not on the website anymore but still offer it. I do not know if they still require you to download the google extension, when my plan goes back to free I'll test it by removing it (yes it does kinda lag your browsing experience) and see if anything happens. Sign-up process is very different from I what remember, it was easy back in the day but now you have to wait to get approved. I know this because i sign-up using a virtual machine to see what happen to the site.
Does it work?
Yes it does work. It has found 187 sites. Only 11 were not accepted by google because of fair use or history recording reasons. Bing and Yahoo never reply so it might be possible to find stolen content on those search engines, either company replay back for comment. However, I do wounder if today's Blasty works because right now it hasn't found any and barely sends any DMCA. I even found one in the search results, then I give it to Blasty to take it down, still have not taken any action, not even from google.
The free plan is a huge downgrade. You do not get any auto DMCA or ways to submit anything to Blasty. You only see who stole your content. This plan is hidden from people but still very much useful for some who might not want to go out looking everywhere.
Blasly has plans for protection of content for image and other content but i have not heard anything about it since.
That is my review for Blasty, hope it has help you decide if it is right for you. If people ask me to contact blasty for questions I'll try my best to do so.
I got the invite to test google's 'Project Stream' which has assassin's creed odyssey game to test out. This is the result of the alpha test everyone did. Some are bad and some are good, we do not have any answers to the price, other date tests or anything about what might happen. The google forum everyone used closed today, the only thing we know is the possablity of getting assassin's creed odyssey for free.
How well did it stream?
It was horrable streaming for anyone who can not get great ammout of speed. We don't know the requirements, google has one but anyone can pass it. Low streaming users were offen report the game being very laggy, game moving on to the next thing and very awful sounds. Everyone later learn the mass amount of data require is over 20GB, we still do not know if google was using vast amounts of data for collecting infomation on the game.
One of the early annoying things is adblockers will cause the stream to no load up. We think google made it so that they can collect data. No other streaming sites like PaperSpace do this to adblock. There is a high chance google will block you from streaming if you have adblock.
After a few days we later learn the game s lock in 60FPS, highest settings everywhere and the need for the controller is a lie. Google internet test was awful, anyone can pass it which was the reason most people had lag. Google never bother to fix anything or make it better, they wanted this to happen. Support was done in the google forums, we dont know if this will happen again.
There was no menu, when you pass the test you press play. Chrome would than force you to fullscreen. Exiting was done by keyboard not controller, you can not exit using the game. If you ever played a html5/flash game that auto goes to fullscreen that is what happens.
After a month or so we thought the service was awful because of the vast data needed to run it. Paperspace, Liquidsky, Parsec, GeForce NOW, etc never had this problem, data is always stays within reason of use. Google on the other hand took too much that people saw an increase in their internet bill. There was one story where one guy played a month got $200 bill from comcast. It was than we learn that certain internet providers will charge you for spending over what they would thought a good ammount of highspeed internet. Not good, the total data he spend was somewhere in 100GB to 150GB I wish to give a honest answer but the google fourm closed before i could get the infomation and the wayback machine could not get in.
A huge game breaking bug was discover with everyone who also owned the game. It got fix really fast by ubisoft, that was only for the owners. We got the fix in i think in 3 weeks after bothering ubisoft so much. We do not know if this will happen but most likely will happen because google can not fix it themselfs, it is not their game.
Another problem is chrome, we don't know which extensions are ok. No one made a list, it was better to turn all of them off than figure it out. Older versions might works, so if you have windows xp than you might have it running. As always with any streaming service the whole thing needed internet.
There was no desktop it kinda works like geforce were you can play the game but no download needed. No menu but this can change.
Would i recommened?
No, this was way worst than Liquidsky, it was a alpha test yes but google did streaming so bad it shouldent even be called streaming more like bad remote connection done worng. This could could change but i'm not to sure it will be fine. Again we were not given any price or any other date to retest it. The whole project could be scrap which i dont mind given what happen. Ubisoft was the MVP though out the whole process, they fix the major bug and give the game for anyone who played over 1 hour.
So first a big thanks to this guy here:
It is easy to get the old UI back, uninstall Chrome but do not press this checkmark:
Download the old here: https://www.chrome-portable.com/index.php/google-chrome-offline-installer
I am using version 70.0.3538.110 the last known version that has no reports of forced UI change. The old 71 version on 12-04-2018 is reported to have the same issue of forced UI.
Follow the same steps:
Tips to help you with Chrome problems you might get annoyed:
Thank you for reading, any questions ask me in the comments or wherever i posted this.
I say final because the once great software is now paid only. So this is what happen over the past 6 months:
- All new games or games with protections are broken (most noticed is unable to play EA games).
- It became a paid software, ads removed, servers die and awful mod support.
- New things happen but not important enough to fix bugs.
As it stands now, your games will get broken, the fix for LS 0.3.2 is not 100%. They choose to ignore this bug for 6 months. We told them over and over to fix it but it was not until November when we have gotten any kind of fix.
The bug for new games being broken wasn't the huge problem, the one that everyone got mad it was the removal of ads. Fine, they made it paid software, fine they ignore the bug but mess with the ads and everyone became mad.
Mod control when from being fine to outright dictatorship, I posted a new calculation cost: https://community.liquidsky.tv/t/new-calculation-cost-for-ls-vs-other-vm/155338
If it gets removed or whatever:
I have been meaning to do this so let’s compare the cheapest plan to everyone else cheapest plans. There are no add-ons, the main cost is how much a computer will run for that company.
LS: $9.99 (no promotion or discount) + 7 days until computer deletion = 1500 credits /// 25 hours ///
Paper space: $0.07 hours + $5.00 monthly for a computer = $6.75 /// 25 hours ///
Sixa: $1.12 hours + $12.00 monthly for a computer = $40.00 // 25 hours //
Frame: $0.01 for USA hourly (EU and Asia is different) + $10 a month = $10.25 // 25 hours //
As you can see LS is second, mostly due to the fact that the $4.99 plan and ad watching is gone. Now let us move to monthly where I will count 1 week to the total cost of an entire month (no one can play forever that is why 1 week hours fits so well) with the same math and no add-ons.
1 week = 168 hours
LS: 10,080 credits = 168 hours then it would cost 7 X $9.99 for a grand total of $69.93 or $49.99 on 10,000 credits to lose 3 hours.
Paper Space: 0.07 hours + $5 monthly + 10,080 minutes = $11.76
Sixa: $1.12 hours + $12 monthly + a week of hours = $200.16
Frame: The USA Only $0.01 hours + $10 a month + one-week full hours = $11.68
The end result is that LS is placed 3rd in monthly hour plan. While Frame is second for doing just basic developer work for PC. Paper Space is first for low cost and not having any problems.
This math proves that LS cannot compete with everyone else, it cost too much and still has problems. Paper Space has no problems and can run on Mac and Linux.
This just made the mod mad and hid my post. I got suspended for no reason and they are not allowing users to post any other alternatives.
Over the past months, they were adding new stuff but never fixing anything. If I have to put a list of noticeable bugs it will be too large to fit here. These are the top 10 bugs you’ll see
1) New games and any EA game will break without warning.
2) No Windows store to play games on, this should be free on every computer.
3) Constant lag or internet failing (your internet is fine).
4) The sky computer isn’t fully protected, you may encounter a virus than on your computer.
5) They will without warning delete your computer.
6) Liquidsky is seen as a bot rather than a computer, you could get banned at any time in any game.
7) Android version of liquid sky sucks
8) The community is dying because it is only paid users, rarely do they ever market themselves to other people.
9) New bugs every update.
10) There are still problems with UI.
I highly recommend everyone to not buy anything from Liquidsky, it may sound good but the problems will keep coming up and up. Your progress will always be lost and you are spending more money than anyone else who uses other VM.

Thank you for reading and happy betting.
That should be all, itch.io is the only one that helps with taxes while other sites do not help you. Be careful, many developers fall into this trap with the successful sale of their game. Thanks for reading and bookmark this blog if you want more information in development of the games.
